Product Group Heading Notes
Blades Type 3 Fixed Pitch These fans consist of nylon fixed pitch blades that are clamped between two light alloy hub halves. The blades are available in both clockwise and anticlockwise direction with angles of 25, 30, 35, 40, 40 and 45 degrees. The hubs are available in 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and 20 blade, only the 8 and 10 blade sizes are kept in stock. Other sizes to order. Max fan dia 10 blade hub is 670mm
Blades Type 4Z Adjustable Pitch These fans consist of nylon adjustable pitch fan blades clamped between light alloy hub halves. 6 hub sizes are available 5, 7, 8, 9, 12 and 16 blade. Blades are available in both clockwise and anticlockwise direction. The 4Z blade is a broader and longer blade than the type 3 which makes it more suitable for absorbing high power and integrated crafts. Max. fan diameter 9 blade hub 820mm, 12 blade hub 900 mm, 16 blade hub 990 mm. All fan hubs are clamped together using M6 * 30 long set screws and nyloc nuts. 9 blade hub double female requires 18 screws
Blades Type 5Z Adjustable Pitch These fans consist of nylon adjustable pitch fan blades clamped between light alloy hub halves. These blades use the same hubs as the 4Z blades. The blades are broader and and longer than the 4Z blade. Max fan diameter 9 blade hub 1080mm, 12 blade hub 1160 mm, 16 blade hub 1250 mm
Blades Type 3Z Adjustable Pitch These fans consist of nylon adjustable pitch fan blades clamped between light alloy hub halves. These blades use the same hubs as the 4Z blades. The blades are the same profile as type 3 blades.
Blades Multiwing type 7XL The 7X fan blades are the largest fan blades in the Multi-Wing range, they are suitable for the larger cruising hovercraft. There are two hub sizes available in 6 and 8 blade sizes. The pitch is adjustable. Maximum fan diameter 6 blade hub 1510 mm and 8 blade hub is 1640 mm.
Blades Truflo Fans These are nylon fan blades clamped in a split aluminium fan hub. Blades are available in left and right hand rotation. The blades are wider than the Multiwing 5Z and give a similar performance to the 5Z blade. (Recommended max power of fan 40hp). Maximum fan diameter 925mm.
Blades Multiwing type 7W The 7XL has now been replaced by the 7W. Blade characteristics are largely unchanged.
